You can make a donation here now online – just click on the button above
If you are not comfortable giving online we’d be equally thrilled to receive your donation as a cheque in the post.
Cheques for the amount you wish to donate should be made payable to ’FORME’ and sent to FORME, 51 Gincroft Lane, Edenfield, Ramsbottom, Bury BL0 0JW. All donations of this kind will be acknowledged by letter.
If you are a UK taxpayer please download and complete our Gift Aid Form and send it with your cheque so that we can reclaim the tax on your donation.
If you would like to leave a legacy to FORME please specify in your Will that you are leaving your gift to FORME (Reg. Charity No. 1045005) to ensure that your legacy reaches us.
If your workplace has a Payroll Giving scheme, and you are taxed through PAYE, you can donate to FORME direct from your wages, and it’s tax-free!
For example, if you are a basic rate taxpayer (i.e. pay tax at 20%) and give £10 per month to FORME through Payroll Giving, the tax relief means that it will cost you only £8. Tax relief is even more advantageous if you are a higher rate (40%) or additional higher rate tax payer (50%). It’s very easy to organise. Just approach the Payroll Department at work and, if they have a scheme, ask for the relevant form.
Alternatively, your employer may be running the Give As You Earn scheme, the UK’s largest and most successful payroll-giving scheme administered by the Charities Aid Foundation. Under Give As You Earn, any employee or pensioner paid under PAYE can donate to any charitable organisation in the UK.
If your employer is a member of the scheme, you can sign up online straight away. The Give As You Earn website will tell you if your employer is a member, and includes a calculator so you can see how much your donation would be worth to FORME. If your employer is not already a member, you can contact the Charities Aid Foundation for further information on signing them and yourself up to the scheme.
Any donation, through whatever means, is gratefully received and will enable further osteopathic research into ME/CFS to take place. We would like to assure you that all personal details will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and will not be passed on to any other organisation or business.
